Weatherburn rented both public and private spaces

Weatherburns tavern is an original building on the original lot. Mr Weatherburn was a farmer who sold his goods in Williamsburg. Overtime we bought property and worked at a tavern and learned the business then built his own tavern.

This blacksmith had 4 stations . They were the largest of all the blacksmiths in town because not only did they make all kinds of household items

they were the blacksmiths for the militia

I finally finished my sweet grass basket. We took the class from Yvonne Grovner. She is well known for her baskets. Yvonne is from Sapelo Island and in addition to making and teaching baskets, she works for the park system as a guide, and writes books.

We went to the Okefenokee Swamp today.We saw and learned lots during our boat ride and then train ride . During the boat ride our guide often stopped to tell us about reptiles, plants, animals, the swamp and its history. We finished with an up close talk about the reptiles.
