We went on a couple of day trips.
The first trip was to learn more about the St. Lawrence Seaway. We went to the shipping locks at the Eisenhower Locks- there were no ships that day. We also could not get as close as we had in the past. There was a video from the history channel about building the locks amd shipping channels- no wonder they are hesitant to enlarge them for the bigger ships of today.
We also made our first trip to Canada since needing passports. We went to Brockville, Ontario. It has a very nice waterfront and historic area. Brockville is across fr
om Morristown so I've loked through the binoculars for years but this was the first visit.We had to end our camping trip a day early but we were very excited to meet our newest grandson- Noah Nicholas.
